Why We Built This Site
North Carolina gives the public meaningful access to many court dockets, but the correct route is not always obvious. Alamance County civil and criminal matters use different courthouse counters, yet the Alamance County Clerk of Superior Court keeps the records for both Superior Court and District Court. The public Portal provides a Case Summary or Register of Actions, while the Clerk supplies the official file and certified-copy channel. This resource gathers those access paths in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: local explanations of criminal court dockets and civil court dockets.
- Dates and settings: the official routes used to check the court schedule.
- Case lookup: how to use the statewide docket search by case number or party name.
- Record requests: how to distinguish Portal information from court case records and certified copies.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, not an Alamance County court, Clerk office, or North Carolina agency. Official case actions remain with the court and Clerk.
- We cannot retrieve an official court file or docket for a visitor.
- We cannot set, alter, or confirm a hearing date.
- We cannot amend, seal, or remove a court record.
- We cannot issue a certified copy of a case document.
- We cannot provide legal advice about a particular matter.
- We cannot guarantee that a court procedure or contact detail has not changed.
Only the Alamance County Clerk of Superior Court or the court that maintains the case can issue an official or certified court record.
Search Partners
Some pages include third-party search services. Those providers control their own tools, pricing, and policies. A paid result from a partner is not an official Clerk record, and information should be confirmed with the court that maintains the case.
